We proudly present "Hookai", the first installment of our Warehouse Sessions, with guests Greg Kramer and Chris C D Littlefield killing it in the horn section. The environment makes for an unusually rich reverberant sound.

Live In-Studio Performances

Kainalu Sound has the capability to provide efficient mobile audio engineering services, as well as both live and post-production mixing and mastering services for small broadcasters who desire to expose their audience to the music being made in their community in a more intimate manner. We provide a balanced, dynamic, and lucid sonic experience akin to what you may hear on larger non-commercial or commercial radio stations, which prevents listeners from diving away from the dial during technical issues or a severely unbalanced mix. We also provide artists the tools they need to succeed in this unique environment. Through our work, we’ve also had the pleasure of mixing two live in-studio sessions at 90.3FM KEXP in Seattle, WA for the band High Pulp.

Seattle-based General Mojo's joined us for a live in-studio performance at the KVSH Storefront Studio in the heart of downtown Vashon Island, WA on 11/3/2016!

Outdoor Festivals

We are equipped to handle small outdoor festivals that require attentive, continuous, and punctual performance, all while maintaining superior quality and professionalism. We work hard to support the artists during set changes. Getting equipment off the stage is our focus, so the next band can start setting up as quickly as possible.

Kainalu Sound provides a tailored solution for any space hosting live music. We can easily transform any space into one that's suitable to host performers and make them sound great. We work closely with venues in the DIY scene to take shows up a notch and please performers with our efficient yet cordial demeanor. Recording, Mixing, and Mastering

We provide a stress-free recording environment for artists looking to release demos, EPs, LPs, singles, etc. In addition, we provide mixing and mastering services on their own. Send us your stems! We'll mix and master for you using industry-standard audio production software and plugins. Want something tweaked? We're happy to go back and adjust anything after the fact to create the perfect mix. We want to make you sound good. If that means adjusting something to better meet your needs, we're eager to do so. Get in touch! We'd love to help you with whatever your sound needs may be.
